Lockwood and Co | Netflix adaptation:

I’ve Been Haunting My Own Netflix Account Waiting for This—And It Was Worth Every Second! 👻🎬📚

I have been eagerly waiting for the Netflix TV series adaptation of the popular book series Lockwood & Co. by Jonathan Stroud, and I was not disappointed. From the moment the opening credits rolled, I was all in—and let me tell you, it has lived up to my expectations and more.

This series is everything fans of the supernatural and mystery genres crave: chilling ghost encounters, smart banter, mysterious relics, and a trio of teen ghost-hunters with more emotional baggage than a baggage claim carousel. After watching the first five episodes (yes, I binged them in record time), I can confidently say: this is a must-watch.

The casting is spot-on—each actor brings a depth and authenticity to their character that makes you feel like you’ve known them for years. The chemistry between Lockwood, Lucy, and George is electric, and the emotional undercurrents between all the action scenes? Chef’s kiss. There’s grit, charm, and just enough haunting suspense to make you want to sleep with the lights on—but still click “Next Episode.”

The visuals are stunning, from the eerie atmospheric lighting to the gorgeously creepy production design. And the soundtrack? It perfectly balances haunting melodies with modern beats that pull you further into their world.

I’m currently on episode 5 and absolutely hooked—I can’t wait to keep watching and see how the rest of the season unfolds. If you’re into ghost-hunting with a healthy dose of sarcasm, secrets, and spine-tingling suspense, Lockwood & Co. is for you.

I’ll write a full review soon—complete with favorite scenes, standout performances, and maybe a conspiracy theory or two. 😉 Stay tuned!
